I’m almost ten months natural so I decided to do an official length check, I normally do random length checks. I used my previous length check picture and I discovered that my hair hasn’t really grown much. My length is quite ok and yes I’m a lazy natural, so I know that if I take better care of my hair it’ll be healthier and longer. So I decided to upgrade my regimen, added some treatments to boost my hair care. Also my edges are reaaally bad, they need life… lol. So here’s my updated regimen. I’m going to stay off extensions and weaves for two months, I’ll try out low manipulation styles .I’m also going on a no comb regimen. This is a sorta long post so I’ll be putting out subsequent posts

August Product Haul
Hi guys, hope you've been great. This post is about some products I got.
I'm really trying hard not to be a product junkie but I can't resist buying new stuff. I just restocked two products I ran out of and bought two new ones. Not bad right.
1. Cantu Shea Butter for Natural hair Hydrating Cream Conditioner
I got this at a shop close to my house for #1450 and it sells online for #2800 which is almost half the price. I was really surprised. I'll post a review soon.
2. ORS Olive Oil Replenishing Conditioner
I use this as my deep conditioner. It cost #1300 and came with a little gift, ORS Olive Oil Moisturizing Hair Lotion (not in the picture) I just restocked it.
3. Eco Styler Gel
I restocked this, cost #1050. I use it for my wash n go, twist out and to slick my edges.
4. OKAY Peppermint Oil
I'm going to be using this for the oil mix on my edges.

How I Dust My Natural Hair
Hey guys, how have you been. I'm sorry I've been away for so long. I can't start explaining why, let me just say life happened.
Well today's post is about how I dusted my hair. I don't wanna say trim cos I cut off very little hair.
I figured there's no reason holding on to damaged hair, cause it'll become worse.
Health over length and healthy hair grows.
I used the twist and trim method
How I went about it: my hair was pretty matted and dry so I had to detangle before twisting.
This was the first time I finger detangled my hair without using a comb. It took time but I experienced less shedding.
I sectioned my hair into small sections and spritzed my hair with a mixture of water, conditioner and oil, finger detangled and twisted. I then cut off where the twist thins out (sorry I don't have pictures of the process)
After cutting, the twist had a consistent thickness from root to end.
After the whole process I was tired and couldn't do wash day, since I had my hair twisted up I decided to leave it and go for a not so defined twistout cause I didn't use any products.
I'm not sure what's wrong but I can't upload a pic
I'll see you on my next post

How I Take Care of My Hair in Braids
Hey guys, happy Sunday. Hope you're doing well.
Today I'm just going to talk about how I take care my hair in braids. It's very likely for us to abandon our hair when it is in a protective style like braids or weaves but this is when our hair really needs moisture.
So here's how I take care of my hair in braids;
After installing the braids I massage my edgeswith coconut oil to ease the stress on them
I moisturize my hair 3 Times a week with my diy spritz(leave in conditioner and water) and seal with olive oil. Avoid heavy oils and butters to prevent build up
Once a week I massage my scalp with olive oil
I massage my edges every night with Jamaican black castor oil
If I'm leaving my ps for more than two week, I make sure to clean my scalp
I add shampoo to a bowl of warm water, get a clean towel and clean my scalp
Then I get clean warm water and use the towel to clean my scalp to remove the shampoo
Then I go on to moisturize my hair
That's basically what I do.
If you are lazylike me, you can do this while watching your favourite tv show
My braids is currently two weeks old, I'll take it down at the end of the week
Have a blessed week ahead.
Deuteronomy 28:12
The LORD shall open unto thee his good treasure, the heaven to give the rain unto thy land in his season, and to bless all the work of thine hand: and thou shalt lend unto many nations, and thou shalt not borrow.

Happy New Year
Hey guys! This is a short one.
I just want to wish you guys a happy new year, God's blessings and grace be upon your life this new year.
Take chances, dont sit around waiting so you won't regret not doing it.
I would do a lot of things differently.
